Shirish is the Co-founder and Senior Vice President at KPIT. He is a Student of a school in Pune for gifted children, Jnana Prabodhini. He graduated from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay in Electrical Engineering and followed up with a Masters degree in Control Engineering from IITB in 1985. He worked for TCS out of the campus, then joined Kirtane Pandit, CA firm and later co-founded KPIT Technology in 1991.

Has played various roles within KPIT over the years that involve customer facing, project delivery, as a CIO and later mainly related to technology, as the CTO. Has been a founder member of the CIO Klub, a group of business professionals playing CIO/CTO role in various organizations in India. Has worked in creating variety of technology offerings and driving innovation projects. Currently working with CTO and Business teams with emerging technologies to create offerings for the Automotive market.

He is passionate about technology, architecture, music, trekking and nature. He is a musician, performs in live shows.
